Willy Wonka Jr. Auditions - Grades K-8
Step into a world of pure imagination! This spring, students K-8 have the exciting opportunity to audition for the cast of Willy Wonka Jr., where chocolate rivers, Oompa-Loompas, and magical adventures come to life!
Willy Wonka Jr. is a musical journey that follows Charlie Bucket, a kind-hearted dreamer, as he wins the golden ticket to tour Willy Wonka’s mysterious chocolate factory. Along the way, he meets quirky characters and learns the value of honesty, kindness, and imagination. Packed with catchy songs, fun dances, and larger-than-life moments, this show is as sweet as a Wonka Bar!
Audition Info
- Auditions: Materials will be posted on the AAPA website by December 20th.
- Auditions will take place on Monday, January 13th. Callbacks will be Wednesday January 15th.
- Cost: Free to audition!
Students who make the cast will receive an email which will include a link to the registration where you will complete the necessary documents to participate and process the registration fee of $325.00. Also included in the email will be a form to fill out for costume measurements, volunteer sign up, and a more detailed schedule.
Students will also have the opportunity to sign up for the tech team to run the show behind the scenes - props, sets, lights, and sound!
Cast rehearsals will take place Mondays, Wednesdays from 4:00-6:00PM and occasional Saturdays.
No experience? No problem! Everyone’s welcome to audition, whether you’re a seasoned performer or brand new to the stage.
