Electronic Wearables - Grades 6-8

Sewable electronics, or e-textiles, projects are a fun, easy way to be introduced to electronics and engineering through the use of a familiar medium, such as crafting materials and fabric. Students will be given step-by-step instructions including a full-color guide for 5 fun projects, from glowing pins to music buzzers. Students will even have a chance to add electronic components to their own clothing or accessories. This course will count for one credit towards the Engineering Certificate Program in either programming or design discipline.
