Laser Engraving: Light-up Shadow Box - Grades 7-8

Design a multi-layered three-dimensional (3D) shadow box with adobe illustrator. A shadow box is made by creating laser cut layers of card​board or wood, with each layer having different elements cut out from the center. Then​, when you ​add a LED light from behind the layers, it comes through in varying degrees of brightness, creating a 3D effect. This course counts towards the design discipline for those interested in the Engineering Certificate Program.
