Battle of the Books - Two Teams: Grades 3rd & 4th and Grades 5th & 6th
Battle of the Books is a friendly competition where student teams read a collection of novels and then face off against other neighborhood schools in a fast-paced trivia challenge. Readers will work together to master story details, characters, and plots as they prepare for the ultimate book showdown! We will meet on Wednesday's from 4-5 pm. 
For our Battles, there will be two teams: 3rd/4th with Mrs. Walthers and 5th/6th with Mrs. DelValle. Each team will consist of 7 members. Battles tentatively will be in the evenings on Monday or Tuesdays at the downtown Castle Pines library.  During the battles 5 students will participate and there will be two substitutes. Students will be rotated and coaches will do their best to make it as fair as possible.
