Info

Summer Elementary Production: James and the Giant Peach JR. - Accepting Grades: Incoming 1st through Outgoing 5th.

Join us for an exciting elementary summer musical camp featuring James and the Giant Peach JR. Every registered student is guaranteed a role, with specific parts assigned through friendly, age-appropriate auditions held in early May. Campers may choose a morning (9am-12pm) or afternoon cast (1pm-4pm), and all rehearsals take place at the Motsenbocker campus and the Parker Schoolhouse in a supportive, fun-filled environment.

Based on Roald Dahl’s beloved story, James and the Giant Peach JR. follows young James on a magical adventure inside a giant peach, where he meets a group of unforgettable insect friends. Together, they discover the power of courage, friendship, and finding where you belong. With its humor, heart, and catchy songs, this show is a favorite for young performers and audiences alike.

The camp concludes with fully staged performances for family and friends at the Parker Schoolhouse Theatre, giving students the chance to shine on stage while building confidence, creativity, and lasting memories.
