Please note that this ECA will require that all students be masked and maintain social distancing until further notice. Should it be mandated that we cannot conduct ECA s in our traditional format (and only for that reason), refunds for this ECA will be pro-rated. Otherwise, all ECA registration funds are non-refundable.

Advanced Musical Theater Dance (6-8) Advanced MTD builds on a dancer's existing fundamentals and technique. This class is designed to further your speed and coordination in tap, jazz, ballet, and hip hop for the musical stage. If you love Broadway shows and you want to be cast in musicals, this is the class for you!

PLEASE NOTE: Advanced musical theater is designed for dancers with 2 years of recent experience or more and focuses on the fundamentals of dance technique and progress into faster paced leaps, turns and quick foot movement. This class is designed to further your training in isolation, syncopation, strength, rhythm, contraction, and flexibility. Build your Broadway-style repertoire with instruction in tap, jazz, ballet, and hip-hop for the musical stage. If you can t help but move to the rhythms of Broadway and you want to be cast in musicals, this is the class for you!

REFUNDS: Because American Academy teachers run our extracurricular activities based on the number of sign-ups prior to the activity, all activity fees are non-refundable unless the teacher needs to cancel the activity due to low enrollment.

LATE ENROLLMENT OR MISSED ATTENDANCE: Timely enrollment and regular attendance for each activity is the responsibility of the parent and the student. The activity fee does not reflect the number of days your student attends the activity; rather, the activity fee is a flat fee budgeted to cover the costs to the school and the teacher for each activity that runs, and is the same for each student enrolled in that activity, regardless of the number of days the student attends. For this reason, American Academy does not prorate activity fees for late enrollments or give refunds to students not in attendance each day of the activity.
