Schedule

Please Note:
Each dance class we offer has a maximum number of students allowed in each class so students get the technical attention they deserve to further advance individual skills. Students wanting to register after a class reaches its maximum capacity will be placed on a waitlist. When the waitlist reaches a minimum number needed to open a new class, students will be notified on a first come, first served basis.
*Classes will not meet on 9/30 and 12/2 due to conferences and remote learning day.
**Important - Purchase of dance attire, at the direction of instructors, is recommended. This may include tap, jazz, and ballet shoes, as well as basic dance clothing.
***CoVid Considerations: We will continually monitor regulations and innovate ECA formats as restrictions dictate. Please note that this ECA will require that all students be masked and maintain social distancing until further notice. Should it be mandated that we cannot conduct ECA s in our traditional format (and only for that reason), refunds for this ECA will be pro-rated. Otherwise, all ECA registration funds are non-refundable.

Info

Intermediate Musical Theater Dance 4-5

Intermediate MTD focuses on adding to a dancer's skills and technique. This class is designed to introduce more advanced combinations in tap, jazz, ballet, and hip hop for the musical stage, as well as improve the ability to learn and retain choreography. Students will be taught short routines to their favorite Broadway musicals while gaining confidence and coordination.

REFUNDS: Because American Academy teachers run our extracurricular activities based on the number of sign-ups prior to the activity, all activity fees are non-refundable unless the teacher needs to cancel the activity due to low enrollment.

LATE ENROLLMENT OR MISSED ATTENDANCE: Timely enrollment and regular attendance for each activity is the responsibility of the parent and the student. The activity fee does not reflect the number of days your student attends the activity; rather, the activity fee is a flat fee budgeted to cover the costs to the school and the teacher for each activity that runs, and is the same for each student enrolled in that activity, regardless of the number of days the student attends. For this reason, American Academy does not prorate activity fees for late enrollments or give refunds to students not in attendance each day of the activity.
