American Academy's Musical Theatre Production Camp is the ultimate theater experience. We strive to spark creativity and build self-confidence by experiencing the arts in a challenging, supportive and fun environment.
This camp is designed for students entering Kindergarten through 5th grade. You DO NOT need to be a registered American Academy student to participate. Students will work on skills in acting, theater dance, and voice while preparing to perform the classic animated film, Disney's 101.
Dalmatians KIDS is a fur-raising adventure featuring Cruella De Vil, Disney's most outrageous villain, and 101 of the most adorable heroes to set their paws onstage. There will be two performances at the end of the camp.
Students must be registered prior to auditioning. Students are invited to participate without a qualifying audition (although we will utilize auditions for those who sign-up, in order to determine casting assignments). Casting is primarily based on the student s preparation and performance in the audition.
Auditions will take place in May 2018.

Here are a few questions and answers in regards to 101 Dalmatians Summer Camp:

  • Is the camp really 2 weeks long?
Yes, each camp is two weeks. After trial and evaluation, we determined that a two week time span works better for younger performers to provide more time to memorize and the shorter days are less exhausting for the kids.

  • Do you know what days the performances will be? (Either 9am - noon or 1pm - 4pm)
Each camp session will present two performances:
         June 4 - June 15
    • Week One morning camp will perform on Friday, June 15th, at 3pm and 7pm.
    • Week One afternoon camp will perform on Saturday, June 16th, at 2pm and 6pm.

         June 11 - June 22
    • Week Two morning camp will perform on Friday, June 22 at 3 pm and 7 pm.
    • Week Two afternoon camp will perform on Saturday, June 23rd at 2pm and 6 pm.
